Default Which mark for TDC?

Curious, need a quick reply, but which mark should i use for Lining up TDC on my h22a1 with an automatic tranny? I've found the marks on the flywheel, the white dash, sideways T, then below that is a sideways W, and below that look to be the three marks for checking the timing, one red dash. Not sure which one to line up with, thanx.

Funny story:

Me and JTCDudeman were swappin in a F22B into an auto H23 and the Helm's specs for the torque converter bolts seemed too tight: we ended up snapping two bolts, I believe, before trying something else.

Hmmm, thats odd, i read one place not to use the white mark. I just tried to line it up, and it still is out of time. It wont even start. It tries to but makes backfiring sounds out the intake mani. Hmmmm....

Well, a much easier way to get to TDC is to just pop out the spark plug from #1 cylinder, stick a long screwdriver or rod or something into the cylinder to sit on the piston, then turn the motor by hand until the rod goes to the top of the stroke and stops going up, but before it starts going back down.

A not so easy way to do it is to take the distributor apart and line up the CYP sensor with the tear dropped metal piece on the shaft.

When those are lined up, you are exactly at TDC.
