First question, anyone here put 205's on fat fives and notice a loss in transient response? Im debating whether to go 205/50 or 195/50. I dont know whether to have more contact patch or smaller/stiffer sidewall for better response.

Secondly, anyone have Hankook Ventus HRIIs and do you like them? Im looking for a decent performing tire with good treadwear, not all-out performance tire. The prices Ive been seeing for these are cheap as fck but Im question if they're worth a damn (Edgeracing are selling them for $37 a piece). I need to replace the crappy Bridgestone Eagers I got on the car now soon so Im shopping around. If anyone has comments on the Hankooks or any other reasonably affordable tire, let me know.

I'm ridin on a set of Ventus HRII's. I think they are a good daily driver tire, but def not a performance tire. They have long tread life but, the grip durring cornering is not all that great (squeals).

If your planning on regular highway/street driving, get them. They are quality made tires for a few pennies, compared to the cost of other tires. They are excellent rain tires as well, due to the tread design.

Overall rating from me (1 - 10): 7.5
