I recently did a B16 swap on a 90dx and when i turn on the engine for more thatn 2 days the battery dies. i moved the battery to the back. thats probably all i have done with electrical, i also noticed the starter solenoid no engaging the other day when it i fired it, i only hear a the starter motor moving but no the engaging with the flywheel,.
i dont have my stereo on whatsoever, the battery is brand new Exide orbital.
any suggestions?

 

something is draining your battery..

 

get your alternator checked out. its draining your battery

 

sounds like your alternator isnt charging and/or you have a draw, try doing a parasitic load test, and check and see if the alternator is charging by taking a meter and seeing if the alternator is putting out 12 volts

 

i think the alternator works because it charges the battery when i leave it on, the only electrical modifications are cd player amp and battery mounted on the back.
i can turn back on after a jump start.

I disconected the L sensors on the doors you guys think that drains my battery even though i dont have a dome light working?
