Default Thermal cat back-5th gen...

I have searched millions of posts concerning the Thermal cat back for my 97 5th gen...But I have yet to find a definitive answer on the true sound of this exhaust system.. Some people say it is quiet, a little more aggressive than stock and a few people always say it is loud? I love it bc it stock looking and I do not want anything close to sounding like annoying rice. What is the true sound of this exhaust??? especially on the highway going 75mph and at idle..???
thanks...

Well if this is any help my friend has a thermal on his Integra Type R and i think its one of the best sounding exhausts I've ever heard... not to loud but not to quiet. You can still hear the intake very well over the exhaust. Im also thinking about goin with the thermal cat for my car. If you get one let me know how it sound on your Lude.

I had just bought a Thermal R&D Stealth for my integra... and I called thermal to ask about the classic for a prelude. Their answer... that prelude stock is 90 decibels... they said theirs is 100 because that's the limit? But there's a sound clip here for tegs: http://www.team-integra.net/se...D=451.
The classic sounds gorgeous, I fell in love with it, but wrecked my integra like a week after the stealth arrived in the mail

i have the thermal exhaust on my 5th gen. Sounds good. Use to have the world sport but switched. It is louder than stock, but not loud enough to drive you crazy.
When i dont want to hear it i just turn the radio up a little louder than normal and im straight.

Overall, im satisfied with it

Nice pricing there, but it doesn't answer the question.

Somebody post a sound clip of it. When I get mine i'll post one, but i'm in debt now so it'll be awhile...

The thermal sounds pretty good, but I guess I'm still partial to my EVO, IMO that sounds the best.

i just heard thermal (on a bb6) last night at a meet in charlotte. it sounds really good. it sounds really deep in a lower revs (like i was behind the car and it moved my paints) and dose not get pitchy (raspy, ricey) in higher revs. i belive after hearing it im pretty much sold. reminded me of tunabe ultra madalion (or how ever you spell it. ). ether way, sounds like a great exhuast.

yea i actually think its one of the best sounding after cats ive heard so far. i too was looking into them and the only downside ppl seem to bring is on the highway it has a deep droning sound that gets to you on long road trips. i dont go on long highway road trips with the car so it didnt really affect me. but def. get it and if you are able to make a sound clip for everyone for future refrences. i myself got an apex-i n1 after cat havnt installed it yet. i woulda got the thermal if i didnt get such a good deal on mine.
