Default ABS

How do you tell a car has ABS by just looking at the engine bay?

i know how to tell by driving it by how i want to know where its located and all? NEWB

You need to look for the ABS servo unit, it's an aluminum colored looking block with a bunch of brake lines coming out of it that's totally separate from the master cylinder. You could also turn the ignition key to the on position and look for the ABS light to come on, on the dash.
