Hello all! I've been watching the forum for about 2 years now and thought I should finally introduce myself, and with some luck get some pics of my car uploaded. If my pics don't work... sorry for the red X, hope you like the intro.

Dan what base are you stationed on? I work out of Camp Foster, but actually will work on all the bases every now and then. I don't ever recall seeing your car, shame as I am always on the lookout for other Honda drivers. My car is down at the moment, fried rod bearings on cylinders 2 & 3, but it is getting built up a little bit, well just some new cams and ECU. We should hook up sometime, would love to check out your teggy.
What kind of driving do you like? There are a bunch of local Japanese guys and I that meet up, supposed to be 1 Saturday night a month, but it usually is more like 2 or 3 months that are all Honda guys. Also come May the Honda mechanics will have another gymkana event up at Nago circuit, you are more than welcome to come along.
The car looks nice, and nice to see another gai-jin R owner on island. I met a guy named Don, he also has a DC5R, but is deployed to Iraq right now until about September/October. How much longer you got on island?

Thanks for all the comments everyone. DC5RK20A, I am stationed on Kinser, I remember seeing a DC5 on Foster across the street from Vehicle Regs (is that you?) Been here for 2 years and never knew there was a local Honda Crew, I guess Okinawa isn't so small. Alot of you liked the J's air duct, I got if from JHPUSA, the quality of the carbon fiber was poor in my opinion I had to wet sand and buff (alot) which I didn't expect to do for $200+.
BTW I bought the R for $3,500 bones. CHEAP

If you look really far to the north-northeast, you should be able to see my middle-finger in Chicago.
That's totally awesome, find a few dozen more at that price and you have yourself an import/export business.
