im looking to get a custom 3inch exhaust using my N/A apexi N1 muffler. what kind of prices should i be looking at if i dont want to get screwed. thanks.

 

mandrel bent or crush ? is this turbo ? cause if it aint I think your waaay oversizing it

 

yea, its turbo. Id like mandrel, but if its too much i might just get crushed.

Would it help them that i have a system installed thats mandrel that they could just copy?

If you want a true turboback, you need to get ahold of the correct flanges first.

If they have to fab one at a local muffler shop out of aluminized steel, you have the gaskets/flanges already... it shouldnt be more than $250.

If you get a true custom peice, mandrel, tigged, stainless, etc its anywhere from $400-$3000.

if you lived around my city, we do 3" mandrel bents for 210.00 + muffler (supply or buy from us).

Buy him a 12 pack of Corona and you will probably get it for next to nothing, lol

Just go to dirty downtown LA. Youll get it as cheap as you can get it... Some shops down there will do jobs for like 50$ profit.

But if you want a quality job then expect to pay for quality work.
Cheap labor is not quality work, and quality work is not cheap.

 

do sloppy welds really matter if its under the car all year long? can they affect performance?
