ECU pins and wiring???
I am doing a gsr swap on my brothers 91 DA and i got a pr3 instead of using the p72 that came with it. I am wondering how do i wire the vtec now and what pins is it. What else do need to wire if there is anything? I need some help this is my first swap. Thanks
cool thanks now how do i read the pins across i read A is the biggest, then b is the middle and C is the last. How many O2 sensors do i have to run besides the one wire one it has already?
ok went to put the ecu in and followed what you said and i ran all the pins ecept for the knock......i went to b19 and there was already a wire there? the car is a 91 ls and idk if it had a knock sensor...........i hate computers and wiring

what year is the DA you're performing this GSR swap on?
also, check out these wiring diagrams:

yes, one is power one is ground, usually the black wire is ground. You can just ground the ground wire to the body of the VTEC solenoid.

IAB is for the GSR engine, controls the secondary butterflies in the intake manifold. If you don't have a GSR intake manifold or ecu, no need to worry about it.
You sure B19 isn't empty? looking at the plug the right way (from behind as the my diagram shows?)
I'll have to check what B19 pin out is exactly....

ok went g2ic and looked up ECU pin outs..........b19 on the pr3 is the knock sensor and i said there was a wire there..........i looked it up under the original pr4 and it said P/S Oil Pressure Switch.........what does that mean and on the pr3 its c9 pin out but on the pr4 the pin out is PA sensor............is that power steering i dont remember what wene to what exactly.....anyone helo me out please im so close to bein done but yet so far...
also just saw a10 pressure regulator cutoff solenoid valve..............i noticed before i removed the old motor the vacuum to the fuel pressure reg ran to the solenoid first but on a regular 94-01 teg it goes straight to the intake mani.........which way should i run the vaccum hose to it???
