Default Tires for wet and dry traction!

Im picking up some 16 wheels and Im wonder what tires to get. Price is no object on tires ever since I hydroplaned and crashed into the freeway divider. That is something I shouldnt go cheap on so give me your opinions on tires and sizes. This will be on a 89 EF so let me know.

Kumho Ecsta MXs. Big 285's on my Mom's Cobra and no problems in the rain despite the huge size.

Bridgestone S03 Pole Position. Exccellent in the wet - rated one of the best. Very very good in the dry. Fairly long lived (15k miles for me). Quiet compared to other high performance tires. Comfortable without giving up steering precision. A premium tire at a premium price but worth it.

A friend of mine has Kumho Ecsta MX (205/40/17) tires on his EK Hatch and he loves how they perform in the rain. He says its hard get them to lose grip in the wet.

I AM GUESSING 205-40-16 size is what you want, that is the correct size for the car.

What kind of driving do you do? if you don't drive very aggressive try these
The falken ZE-512
Yokohama Avid H4S

for aggressive driving try ES100
