Anyone help me i have a large problem i have project car i would like to finish by 2/27/05 and i need some help first i need a front mount reasonaly cheap and a info on shave a block down for turbo clearance
you mean notch the block? all you do is take a grinder and shave off part of the webbing on the motor. just enough so the turbo wont rub. get a johnny racecar fmic. like 180 shipped

what mechanical thing are you talking about ?

I put regular Mobil 1 - 10w40 for $1.18 /bottle .... car holds 3.5 Qt, dont put more than 3.75 ...as for how much the turbo holds - put 3.5 Qt and see where the mark on your dip stick is
so add a little more
... on mine stock D16Z6 with 3.5 qt it goes up to the upper mark
if you put 4 qt then your oil will rise its temperature - not much, but you don't want it hotter but rather cooler

Your oil temp will decrease with more oil obviously, more surface area, more mass for the molecules to lose speed hence cooling down
I put 4qt in mine because I aint boosted and she eat a quart every 550-600km/s

obviously it won't!
-> more oil -> need more time to cool off ->keep higher temperature
Also, the speed of the molecules does not depend on mass, it depends on density, temperature, mixtures... Learn some physics

did an oil change today to see. i did 3.75 and it worked out fine. did 3.5 first, started car for 10-15sec. turned off, checked dip stick, added another 1/4. and it was all good.
