Car won't start unless I pump the gas.
hey guys,
i have 450cc injectors from Tunertoys.com
and i'm currently running the hack on my b18b, which will be gone soon.
the problem i have is when i start the car, i won't turn on unless i give it a little gas while turning the key. when i first installed my turbo it started up fine but now its doin this. i also changed my plugs today and gapped them to .030 and it did help a little.
other things are, i'm running without an o2 sensor. i ordered one about 4 days ago and should be at here soon. any suggestions to make my car start up without pumpin the gas?

When did fuel injected Honda's come with carburators?
Seroiusly, you are doing nothing but openning the throttle body... I'm thinking that the TPS sensor is tied to the AFC wrong (I'm not a hack person) and running to rich or messing with the stock ROM somehow (overvoltage from TPS)
If you check the ECU codes, you will probably be getting a TPS failure of some sort.

That's what I was thinking. Opening the throttle plate won't do anything unless the IACV is clogged.
If you've never cleaned the IACV filter, this might be something to look into. They get pretty gunked up.

I am having the same problem using 450 injectors and the hack. The cold start is set up for 240 injectors in open loop and the VAFC does not take over until you go into closed loop. Mine runs pig rich at start up until it warms up and goes to closed loop. I put the stock injectors back in to troubleshoot and the car starts and runs perfectly. THis is one of the reasons I am getting rid of the Hack and going with uberdata.

what are you setting on the afc, % wise and do you have 6in and 6out set right..
obdI or II,
if your runing a p28 odbI ecu, you need to richin up your map a little bit to get it to idle and run right.
have you taken the car out, are you having trouble getting into boost.?
platinum.
