SOHC clutch service limit??
Hi, ez q,
I can't get to my helms
can someone tell me what the service limit is (like how much meat you can
have left on the clutch disk before needing to replace it) on a 92-95 civic sohc clutch??

was hoping someone could just look up what it says in the helms for me.
it's a .mm value..
I should be able to gauge whether or not my current clutch is worth keeping from that.

did you check the honda dealer for a price or did you go to a parts store? i have got daikin clutches (honda oem supplier) from autozone for like $39. just a suggestion.
hmm, didnt know they came THAT cheap.
so thats the same as an exedy stock replacement then?
is that just the disc? or pp, tob, tool etc ?

that is just the disk and daikin clutch owns excedy, so they are just the same. the throw-out bearing is probably $40 also. for a whole package it's about $120-$140.

I didn't think too much about replacing just the disk.
and yeah the local autozone quoted me like 150, so I guess they were
talking about the complete package.
already have a new to/pilot bearing..
need a freakin tool though.. hrmm..
