18" Professor...Will I rub?
Hey all I'm planning on picking up a set of 18" SSR Professor and was wondering with size of 18x8 front with +55 and 18x9.5 rear with +59 offset. I'm also planning on dropping the car with eibach/koni which would be a a 1.25-1.5 inch drop. I also heard that I might have to run a little negative camber which is no problem but possibly having to roll my fenders is something I don't want to do. So would anyone here think I'll be okay and if so what size and type of tire should I run with this set up, thanks for any feedbacks.

you should be ok.. but you might rub a little.... make sure you pick up the right tires with the sidewall that goes inwards a little to avoid rubbing...... rolling your fenders would be highly recomended, and will give you a lot more clearance..
thanks for all the reply so far.....also about rolling the fender I just don't like the idea of doing something major like that to my fender what if I messed it up or something....also could you name me some tires that goes inward? Thanks
John
P.S. Pics will definitely be up if I get the wheels

contact jim at tire rack... he'll give you all the tire options for the setup you're going with....
as for the fender rolling i'm sure you could probably find a place that can do it for you.. if you mess up on it you'll get a couple of little tiny dings here and there... and i've heard you can actually rent/borrow the fender rolling unit from pepboys and you'll also need a heat gun to do it.... if you end up doing it make sure you keep constant heat on the fender... but do not make it to hot cause if you get it to hot you will melt the paint... but you need constant heat so it will have a smoother finished product in the rolling....
