Default which air / fuel gauge?

i think I might get one of these. I already ordered an oil pressure gauge. Anyone have a brand preference? Id like accuracy obviously... without too high of a price.

If you don't mind having the gauge in the engine compartment, then you can go with the B&M one.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't read well your question. I thought you were asking about fuel pressure gauge. oops!

About air/fuel ratio monitor I wouldn't recommend anyone (anyone that's afordable) because they have no accuracy, hence being useless. You said don't want to spend too much on it but the real ones are expesive and are not designed as to be installed on you dash like other gauges. Instruments like the ones Motec makes (high doug) and other brand I don't remember right at this momment. Sorry!

a/f gauges are 110% useless. I wont even put one in a turbo car again.

Of course, I'm not talking about a wideband a/f.

what other gauge would you recommend... this is an NA car. I already have oil pressure.

FP, which you have. You could do oil temp and/or water temp if you want (stock gauge isn't accurate..). Other than that, there's nothing else I'd want. A VAFC measues vacuum so no real need for that. Why do you want another gauge?

.....if that's the case, then just get the dummy light autometer a/f meter.

If you're serious about accurate a/f ratios for tuning:

a good egt on exhaust from cyl #3 or this would be excellent:

The New Apexi timer doesn't feature with A/F readings but I don't know if they are that accurate or not. If you want higher accuracy I will suggest you to buy the Greddy which they offer a pretty decent price cuz the unit comes with a better O2 sensor over stock.
