Default OBD2b to OBD1 - what needed?

Hallo,

i have a OBD2b P73 ECU. what do i need to run a obd1 p30 ecu i.e. on a obd2b integra type r b18 engine.

i know i need the adapter harness and the obd1 ecu... and if i swap from obd0 to obd1 i need the o2 sensor and the distributor... but i'am not sure how it is with obd2 and obd1... maybe someone can help.

Thanks
Malte.

all you need is the adapter harness and ecu.

As others have said, you need the OBD1 ecu and the conversion harness. Check here for the cheapest prices anywhere on the OBD conversion harnesses. No middle man. No internet pinout copiers.

You will also need OBD1 Injector Clips - You will be running Peak and Hold injectors now instead of saturated.

OBD1 injectors are still Saturated. And he can keep the OBD2 injectors as well. If he wanted to go to Peak and Hold..OBD0 injectors, then he would need to install the resistor box.

I have the biggest selection PERIOD! I have been doing this for a while man. If someone is doing something custom and needs it, I will make it no problems.

I have a p28 laying around. Does it mean I can run the p28 on the b18c6 with the correct harness?

Yes you can, but you need to have the p28 chipped first to properly run your b18c
