Default all motor lsvtec setup? help me out

basically stock lsvtec looking to get around 200whp what would be needed on a budget, its in a crx 89 si, what could it possibly run, im already looking into ctr cams, itr header, ctr pulley, cam gears, manifold, cold air, for now, later on this summer im hoping to get another b16 head and port/polished with upgraded valve train, i know you all sick of posts like this im more a turbo guy just looking to do something different for a change let me know thanks alot.

bottom end so far is shot peened rods, micro polished crank, cryo frozen pistons, im thinking about milling the head to raise the comp, i really dont wanna pull it apart and put in new pistons. beside compression is overrated.

rod bolts are like 50 bucks nd head studs at like 100... 150 dollars to save ur motor. stock LS rod bolts stretch liek bubble gum and u can't reuse head bolts i've heard. go wtih arp ones

you will need some higher compression pistons over stock LS

P30's or JDM ITR.

You will need something along the lines of skunk2 stg 2 or Toda B's and a valvetrain to support it.

A decent header, like hytech or SMSP

An intake manifold, such as ITR, BLOX, Skunk2
blah blah blah

you get the idea

My LS/Vtec build
B16a head on a B18b block

Golden Eagle LS/Vtec Kit - $215
P30 Piston Ringset - $120
ACL Bearings - $100
AEBS Head Studs - $115
GSR Oil Pump - $125
GSR Waterpump - $50
GSR T-belt - $50
ARP Main bolts - $40
Machineshop + Gaskets/misc - $100

Total = $915.00

I already have GSR cams, ITR Intake and CTR Crank Pulley.

I'm going to have http://www.maxbore.com bore out my B16 TB to 65mm for $100.

Later on I plan on upgrading my cams to something a little more aggressive.

Good luck with your project.

can anyone shed some light on "resizing" the large end of the rod after installing arp rod bolts? Is it necessary?

Default buy mine

I have a LSvtec that I am selling.
It has less than 6500 miles since the Rebuild.
B18a1 block Shotpeened LS rods with CTR pistons Fitted on them
99GSR head Boned stock. The head has been decked for correct fitment. Unorthodox Crank pully
ITR water pump
GSR oil pump
Skunk2 intake manifold.
The motor is in my car right now but will be coming out next week for a built turbo motor I just finished. Will take reasonable offers.. Let me know Thanks
Justin
I forgot to post that the rotating assembly was balanced and crank was micropolished I have the balancing card to prove it
