Arite guys. ANOTHER PROBLEM. I just have a couple of questions.

I just recently changed my lower ball joint on the driver side up front and I went to test drive it. The weird thing is, I noticed that it felt like I was driving over small lumps. The best way to explain it is, it feels like there is a lump in one of the tires. I can't be for sure, but it seems to be coming from the front left (where I worked on the ball join.). I'm not saying that it's coming from there though cuz I wasn't really able to isolate the bumping feeling. One thing I can tell you is that it seems to be bumping in a consistant pattern, rather then being random. Picture a tire with a big lump in it, the slower u drive, the slower it bumps. and the faster u drive the faster it bumps, etc.

Has anyone ever had this problem before?

Okay now my next question is. What is a car trying to tell you when there are excessive amounts of smoke coming from the exhaust?
