15x7 Desmond Regamaster EVOb - 43mm or 45mm offset/rubbing issue?
I recently got a hold of those wheels.
After researchig a bit about those, I found some specs online and a lot of sources say the 15x7 wheels have an offset of 43mm.
After getting these, and cleaning them, I saw the specs engraved on the inside, they go 15x7]]+45.
When I was selling the old set of wheels, I discovered rubbing scratches on the inside of the wheel (I only had those for few months). The rims were Rota C10's which I believe come with the same 45mm offset.
I don't wanna mess up the EVO's so before I put them on, I want to know if any one with similar set experienced similar problem?
I have a '00 Si, dropped on KYB AGX/Neuspeed Sport springs. The rubbing occured on back wheels only.

were the scratches near the lip or hub of the wheel?
you shouldn't have a problem running +45, but if you want to be safe you can get some spacers for the rear. i would also recommend a front/rear camber kit.

The scratches where near the lip.
They were actually right on the opposite site where the lip would be, no where near the hub.
I will put them on this weekend, because it will be nice out.

If it was near the lip, you were rubbing on the edge of the OEM rear-upper trailing arm. You could get a small spacer as was suggested. H&R makes nice ones for Honda's, but most wheel shops can sell some generic 4 or 5 bolt spacers in various thicknesses.
Some people have been able to grind a little material off the OEM stamped arm to get enough clearance. You might consider this.
You can also use some of those aftermarket rear-upper trailing arms that are meant for camber correction, like Ingalls or any of the rod-end type, since they will have a smaller profile.
I can't recall whether the Rota C10 was made in 15x7, so I'm thinking you may have had 15x6.5. In which case given equal offsets, but a 0.5 inch difference in width, you're going to be 0.25 inch closer than before on the inboard side. So the spacer will also need to accomodate this thickness too...

evo 15x7 only come in 45 or 35 offset, no other offset is made, you will not have rubbing issues with any 45 offset unless you are running over 205 tires.
Well I will be running Azenias which I believe are like 217 even tho they are marked 205
The problem is not the tire rubbing, but the wheel rubbing aganist the trail arm.
I will just have to see, the Rotas rubbed and they were 15x6.5 +45.
If the rubbing occurs I will have to invest in spacers/camber kit or something.

Put the wheels on today.
No sings on rubbing or anything like that.
I have no idea why the Rota's rubbed like that, probably the design of the wheel had something to do with it.
Thanks for everyones help.
