Default Production # question

I have searched this site and looked on itrca.com, but is there any way to tell what number my R is? Ever since I bought the car, the badge was changed out on the arm rest to the JDM one i believe (says honda where the number should be). I'm really curious to figure out what my production number is and seeing if any of you guys know of another way to look this up. I remember a while back a topic on this, but I have searched and didn't come up with anything. I blow at searching and rarely find anything I need. Thanks a lot guys

Well, I bought it from a small car dealer and not a private seller. I really want to know, cause its a 97. The name on the title I can't even pronounce.

See if the dealer can get you in contact with the previous owner, or try looking him up yourself.

In the time I've been on H-T, every time this question comes up, no one has found a way to determine the badge number by using the VIN, engine #, or other means.

If you'd looked at the FAQ thread at the top of the page, you would have found this:

Badging - Limited Prod. Number Assigned to ITR
