yeah man, i live in n0rcal and he lives in Socal, climate changes arent drastic plus it also depends if you did the job right, what i did was before i fiberglassed it i dented the holes with a flathead screwdriver and a hammer so wen i layed the fiberglass, it sunk in oppose to leaving the holes flush wen u lay on the bondo/fiberglass and block it, the fiberglass is ver thing. its hard to explain i hope you guys can understand. im not good at explaining things

it's all about prepping. if the filler or fibarglass has a good foundation to bite to then it shouldn't crack. if yours cracked then you prepped it wrong.

Ask anyone who does autobody work for a living if they would fill holes with bodyfiller or bondo.

when you dented the molding holes did you sand down the holes? it would help the fiberglass adhere to the panel better. FWIW, you dont need to know how to weld to shave your moldings. just need a few tack welds which is extremely easy to do.
just make sure you block it, gluide coat, block it again, the another spray of gluide coat to check for imperfections. GL.

yeah i did sand em down before i dented the holes. i did ask a professional thats been doing this since 1992. he said if you do it right, you dont need to weld it. as long as you prep it right. and if it starts cracking after 4 years, then ill post it up then you can flame me.
