Default Thread of Brake Line Fittings

I just wanted to confirm that the brake line fittings on a 94-01 Integra are M12x1.00. I'm talking about the fittings that screw into the master cylinder and prop valve.

Default Re: Thread of Brake Line Fittings (Jeff_B)

Brake master cylinder is M12x1.00 for the rear port and M10x1.00 for the front port for '94 to '97 Integra's with the larger ABS pump.

'98 to '01 Integra's and '97+ ITR's probably have (x2) M10x1.00.

The brake master cylinder bolt pattern is also different between the two. The newer boosters and brake master cylinders have a straight across bolt pattern while the older ones are diagonal.

The front port position is slightly different between the two generations as well.

You cannot use a newer master cylinder without also using a corresponding booster, bending the front line, and cutting/flaring the rear line to swap the M10x1.25 fitting for a M8x1.00 fitting.
