Default b20z vtec

Hi I am looking at running a b20 vtec i have heard that the b20z may need bigger valve relieves? Just wanted to know if this was true i will be runnign a b16 head and ctr cams and jsut wanted to know if i would have to make the valve relieves bigger at all. any help would really be appreciated I used the search function but couldnt find what i was looking for.

as long as your head inst milled and block isnt decked, run a stock 3 layer headgasket and run stock cam gears you will be fine

as answered in other post.

Ihave a 99 civic si coupe the motor is being assembled right now. I was just wondering if anyone would have any idea what kinda numbers id be putting out. i've read lots of articles and forums some say b20 franks normally put out 200 with just the head swap some say more. at http://www.importreview.com/d_2.0.html they got b20 franks puttin out up to 234 hp with less mods than my motor. they also have a 200 hp si coupe @ 200 hp runnin 13.2 that sound about right? heres a list of my mods below. if you wanna check out any pics heres the link http://www.xanga.com/hybrid_syndicate

I know what youre saying. That same guy came into my own thread and posted that same exact post down to the last "." Now seriosly! SI_In_Disguise go get your own thread and ask someone or just get your motor done and find out for yourself. Geez! Go check my thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1162145 (under my friends account) and you can see he did the same thing there and if you have the knowlege to answer any of my questions in there-please feel free.
