Default CEL, got a code 16..anyone with clues?

ok. just swapped an OBD2 LS into 93' CX hatch and i got a code 16 (which is fuel injectors). To make the OBD2 injectors on the LS fit/plug onto the OBD1 GSR hardness i had to shave the side clips on the injectors. does anyone know if this shaving fwked up the injectors? anything about defective or bad fuel injectors causing ECU to throw a code 16? or is it something else to do with the fuel system? i need help ASAP because my car is chugging kegs of fuel on a one way trip.

BTW, i am using a 94 GSR engine hardness, OBD1 GSR Chipped ECU, and OBD1 GSR dizzy for this swap.

injectors might not be compatible with the ecu, i know if you are running rc injectors, you cant use obd2 ecu's. i think in your case its vice versa. obd1 ecu wont be compatible with obd2 injectors. if you've got a friend with an obd1(preferably LS...but you can try obd1 GSR), try swaping injectors and see if that does the trick

try using the injectors from the motor that you swapped out. unless it's a CX, sohc injectors flow the same as b series injectors
