b17a 97 EK all MOTOR!
ok guys i need some damn good advice please. i was going to go FI but it turns out that i have some major oil burning issues. Its internally burning up. Probably piston rings seals or something in that area. so i decided to just go n/a. i'm not sure exactly where to start and what to get first. i have all the basic bolt ons already. the engine was also rebuilt and now has 8000 miles on the motor. my whp goal is 200. right now its 164 to the floor. any SUGGESTIONS OR ADVICE? thank YOU!!!
judgin by ur title ur running a b17 if its not bored and just forged internalls its a square motor 81mmstroke 81mmbore which means it has less vibrations then an over square or undersquare motor which means it will be able to handle higher rpm and last longer the might k20 that ever tuner is raving about is a square motor, i personally agree with lord shishio 11.5 and some agreesive cams with tunning and i dont know if u have any head work but at least a three angle valve job would help.
so will ctr pistons be 11 5? if not which pistons should i get. and are the skunk 2 stage 1 cams good? and what about skunk 2 manifold would that help?
just go with je or arias just make sure the dome is not to high. its probably best to go with a stage 2 cams just in case you might a little more than 200. A skunk2 manifold would help but i'd prefer to go itb
sorry for this dumb question but whats itb? i'm kinda new so i'm not sure what all these letters stand for
o and another dumb question. i think if i got these parts i would have to upgrade my valve train. what exactly does the valvetrain consist of? thanks!!!

Yes i've seen a bunch. Thx for you replies. I've decided to get the skunk 2 stage 2 cams/upgrade valve train and get the skunk 2 intake manifold first. Or should i get the pistons first??? Err i dont know. how much is the going rate for installing pistons nowadays??? THX!
