Omnipower Sport coilovers installed
Just installed the Omnipower Sport coilovers together with the Omnipower front camber kit.
Install went without problems, and rideheight was easy to set as well as preloading.
A thing I disliked was that I had to set height almost at max in the rear, and even then it was a bit lower than stock. In my opinion it should be possible to be at stock rideheight. Front was fine though.
The car handles fine, but it's not by far as stiff as I thought it should be. To all of those who've been complaining about ride quality on the Omni Sports: get a VW or something.
I've absolutely zero problems driving these coilovers at the street. In fact, I wish they were a bit stiffer, but since my car is a daily driver as well as a track machine I need a compromise. I think the Omni Sports are a fine compromise.
Handlingwise the car has little to no body roll, and with my JDM 23mm rear tower bar it behaves very neutral with perhaps a tiny bit of oversteer.
So far I'm happy with them

In the second to last pic, am I seeing electrical tape and two hose clamps covering a hole in your brake line.....

You guys are a bunch of ******. Brake line looks rockin'. I don't see any dripping!
Yeah, I finally got my Omnipower Sports on a track, no complaints.
I wouldn't have adjusted anything if they were adjustable. I also drove 880 miles to the track on the sports... not 'too bad'.

haha... I don't think so
There's no way to attach the brakelines to the Omnipowers as with the stock shocks. So I used strips to attach it to the A-arm and some tape and hose clamps to further prevent rubbing. The hose clamps are also attached very gently to allow the brake line to expand when hot.

Just zip tie the brake lines to the coilover.
There's no need to worry about rubbing.

No, please do not "just zip tie them"

If you cannot pound the bracket off the stock shock and use it on the omnis..... (which is POS if you cant, IMHO) then wrep the lines with something to prevent abrasion on the line and then when you zip-tie it to secure it, wrap one tie around the shock then use a 2nd tie to secure the line to that zip tie so it cannot rub. Rubbing brake lines = very very bad and a good way to wad up a car.

You can't, no attachment point on the Omnis. Actually I originally thought that is what he had done, but I didn't see how it was attached.

Did you get the Sport or Streets? My friend has the Sports in his Type R and it is freaken stiff. The way you preload them effects the stiffness.

If you read the first post, they are almost at their highest in the rear. In the front they could go about 40mm both higher and lower.

If you read the first post, and even the headline of this thread, you'll see I got the Sports. If you think the Sports are too stiff for the ITR, you shouldn't be driving an ITR in the first place as they are only bearly stiffer than stock. I preloaded according to instructions.

I could go way lower if I wanted to.

Yes, the rear structs could've made longer... had the same problem when i installed mine....
Over all it rides great on mine too.. little stiffer in the rear than i wanted it to be. but it's all good.
thanks omniman, who sent me 2 longer structs for the rear suspension. he is the man...

yeah... kinda bad of omniman not to allow stock rideheight in the rear with these coilovers. oh well, nothing is perfect I guess

I could go about 7cm lower in the rear, and about 4 cm lower in the front than what you see in the pictures. So yes the omnis can go as low as you want.
