Just to make sure the original post holds true...the filter that came with the intake is NOT the AEM unit

Here's the convo when I tried to figure out why a generic air filter was included and not the K&N filter that came with it:

Quiks66 (11:49 PM 3/8/2005): I got the intake today and the header looks great. I can fix the rip in the bypass valve, but the actual filter on the intake is NOT the AEM filter that was supposed to come with the intake. I bought the intake partially because the filters they use are very high quality. The one you sent me was a $20 Autozone filter, not the AEM one. Let me know what you plan on doing about this. Thanks.
Siguy00 (2:39 PM 3/9/2005): Im sorry if you assumed that the filter was the aem one. In my add i said "new Filter", no were does it say AEM filter. Im very sorry if you thought otherwise.
Quiks66 (4:52 PM 3/9/2005): Can you show me where in the ad you mentioned that it was a "new" filter and specifically said that it wasn't the AEM filter? I'm still not satisfied.
Siguy00 (6:48 PM 3/9/2005): I never said that it was or wasnt the AEM filter. And you never asked if it was the AEM filter that came with it. Sorry that you arnt satisfied, but there is nothing i can do.
Quiks66 (3:29 AM 3/10/2005): That's ******* rediculous. I didn't think it'd come to this, but that's just dumb. If you're advertising a part (intake or not) it's common sense to make it clear if there are any changes made to it. Needless to say, I'm not going to vouch for you in the future.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS GUY
