Is this before or after you get the carbon fiber doors?
'Best' really depends on what the car is going to be used for. I've got Apex World Sports on my '97 and I like them for what my car is used for (daily driving, minimal drag strip time).

This is kind of like an oxie moran. It won't feel like stock when its lowered. It will be stiffer but if you choise the right set up it won't be bounce. It really depends on what you plan on doing with the car. As far as flexability goes, Ground Control coilovers and Koni yellow adjustables. You can get the springs any way you want in any spring rate. The struts you can have re-valved in a million different configurations. Plus they both can be serviced here in the U.S. Just my 2 cents.

i got h&r sport springs on stock shocks on my 94 accord . i can tell you that it is a stiff ride, not bouncy at all, feels like you get whiplash everytime you hit a unexpected pothole or dips at high speeds . but other than that, i think they are great springs
. i loved driving my car ever since i put them on . but ive been wanting to replace the stock shocks with some agx . but since its only a daily driver, i feel that it is not necessarily needed as of yet .

For what it's worth, there are other coilover kits out there for the Accord....
HKS HiperMax II, Apex-i World Sports, Tanabe Sustec, JIC Magic FLT-A2, Tein SS/Flex/HA/RA/CS
I'm planning on the HKS ones whenever I can find a wagon... and just change the spring rate in the back to compensate for the extra weight...

LOL. H&Rs aren't "bad," but for an accord, there are probably better ways to spend the cash. Tein has already been mentioned for you, and based on what you say you want, the -basic- would probably be the cheapest and most effective way to lower and have a decent road feel.
Also, think about OMNI coilovers if you are looking into a full coilover setup. We can get you a great deal on this setup. You cannot get a better suspension for the price with as many features as the OMNI kit provides.
I just installed my OMNI's yesterday. I had ebay coilovers on blown struts.
The ride is a 1,000 times better. I am a happy customer of the OMNI's.
