ok i got my harbor freight 'pimpin' welder mig lol......ive been using .030 wire for some exhaust/my ghettofab bov flange and im about to weld my buddys firewall in tomorrow (converting a crx to rhd cuz its gonna go hella faster that way lol) and i just want to know if i should change to .023 wire, i have the tips and wire allready, im just not sure what would be better for the normal stuff like exhaust, body, maybe traction bars etc.....thanks!

 

Use .023 for body stuff, maybe try Ten Gauge wire from JW Harris
