like it says above, my car had just be acting up lately , then i notices that i had drove my car in first gear, then when second came, my car like choke somewhere and like stalled out... then right after that, my car doesnt start anymore..... im looking to see that it aint the fuel, my fuel pressure, is still at 40 psi, im thinking of ignition... what should i check for? distributor, cap? rotor? sparks plug? basically is there a good way to diagnose this problem. thanks to all that helped

theres acouple of things that could be preventing your car from not starting. first start off by checking your spark plugs/wires. see if your getting spark there. if your not getting spark from your wires(to check this, take one of your plug wires and remove it from your spark plug and stick like a middle screw drive into it, then put the middle part of the screw driver next to a metal bolt, or anything that will act as a ground. and have someone else try to start the car. if you see a spark that means that your getting spark from your dist. to your wires and that its most likely your spark plugs)if you do need see a spark then its most likey a problem within your dist. check your cap/rotor.if thats all good check your coil. And lastly if all else fails, this a little thing inside of your dist. thats called "ingition control module".you can take that out and get it tested at your local car shop.

Perfect!!! solved the problem! i did the screw drive thing and saw that there was a spark coming from my coil pack, but not from the cap. so i just replaced the cap and also the rotor i got for like 10 bucks...( great deal). and replace it. everything runs very smooth now.. thanks guys
