Well we need a nice sized trailer. To fit a del sol, an EG coupe, toolbox(s), air compressor, etc. that we will be trailering around. I cant seem to find a website that is anything like autotrader, but for trailers. Does anybody know of any good sites or magazines i can pick up to find used trailers or new? Thanks!

I was looking at ebay trailers a lot before I ended up buying from a local place. The problem was that while the prices looked pretty good, the shipping costs were too high. It seems like most of the trailers on ebay are back east or in Illinois.

I just got done shopping hard for a 8.5 x 20. I ended up buying it locally.
After looking on ebay, most of the screamer listings are in the Ohio/Indiana/Michigan area, right in the Elkhart, IN vicinity, where 98% of trailers and RV's are built. Going out to pick one up would only amount to a few hundred bucks savings. That, and all the ones with attractive prices are pretty basic. Also IMHO, 3500 lb axles aren't going to cut it on a 24' box that weighs close to 4k empty. That's all I saw adverteased.
Racingjunk.com was a little better, but lots to sift through, and the geography wasn't any better for pick-up.

There's a small place called DeHaven's on route 7 just East of Winchester. Thier trailers are new, but the guy (Ronnie) is about the best we found to deal with. Couple of years ago we needed(wanted) a trailer w/AC for Hyperfest. He got us what we wanted, gave us a great deal, and worked late installing the AC. Many people in HC took turns soaking up the AC that July 4th weekend. We took the trailer, and went back a couple weeks later and paid for it!!!!!!! Really!!! You can go bare bones, or he'll rig up anything you want.
