Default SFWD car, 620whp/435tq w/Neptune

Just got done tuning another SFWD car for this coming season. Here are the specs:

Engine: 2.0 liter ls/vtec, 9:1 compression, RS machine sleeved, Headgames ported, 1mm oversized exhaust valve, springs/retainers, gsr cams, Edelbrock IM, stock gsr throttle body

Mods: Full Race kit, t4/t67, 1000cc precision injectors, aeromotive a1000 pump and sumped fuel tank, -10 a.n feed line, aeromotive FPR, 3" dp, 3" thermal exhaust

Tuning at 27lbs on c16

We ended up maxing out the 1000cc injectors. I had to detune the car a bit to bring the power level down. The owner is going to swap in 1600cc injectors and turn it up. This engine was making power past 9500, but due to the limited duty cycle with the injectors we had to stop.

Nice power Jeff!

Thats around 750 crank hp and probably about 680 on a dynojet. We maxxed 96lb injectors in james' car at 680 hp.

nice numbers jeff....

what was the static fuel pressure on those 1000's? we maxed out the 1000cc injectors on soundeffects car when it went 640 on stock fuel lines and just a walbro 255 hp pump, i cant remember exactly but i think the fuel pressure was only 50 psi static. i would expect the aeromotive to flow more and high pressures than the walbro but i dont know the certain specs.

post the results of the 1600 cc injectors id love to see it hit 700

Yea, I think maxing out 1000cc's is the point which separates the men from the boys.

Now try and make it stick down the 1320
