im about to put a gsr in my eg and i was wonderin what I should do to get the car into the 12s allmotor also it will be daily driven.
i had a b16 with spray and it was quick but then i turboed it and blew it up so i want something reliable so i figured i would go allmotor

lighten your car considerably, use some .025 over JDM ITR pistons, some Skunk2 stage two cams and appropriate valve train, a nice header (leave it open at the track)- hone your driving skills, use some 24' slicks. Knock down a 1.8 60ft and viola you ran a high twelve.

You can break 12's on drag radials with a little higher compression (dont go over 11.5:1) , lumpy cams (bc 3+, jun 3), ITB's, decent header (smsp, an-r), and tuning. (Hondata, ems, uberdata, no VAFC only ****.)

 

its all on your driving, cut the car, get some radials, stage 3 cams, and tranny work and your good to go

what kind of tranny work?- leave the tranny alone

Stage three cams?- What are you gonna do to support those?

Radials?- Every car I know of has these unless you meant Drag Radials.

I guess he is "good to go" though

 

i think he meant either get a tranny with LSD or put an LSD in, meh, i would just in all honosty get some sort of oem tranny with oem lsd cause they have the best gear ratios anyways, like itr.

and to support the stage3 cams, your gonna need an upgraded valvetrain/header/intake manifold/hondata(etc)/ignition(msd, if you want ignition, not really necessary)

 

there are countless ways to achieve what you have asked. search a little and come back with a more specific question; or hopefully learn enough to answer your own question.

build an ls ... .screwe the v-tec guys haha ... what i would say is ctr pistons with a b-16 head with stage 3 cams and supporting vavle train. with a aebs manifodl and a bisheader/an-r/hytech/ and i got resprsent dtr b-unt( maybe they will hook me up) with a 65 m un tappered t/b with u should be close if not there and if that doesn't work .... build an ls

about 210ish WHP or so can get u in the 12's on a good set of falkien Azenis and some good driving in a hatch.
