D16Z6 Project Completed!!!! (lots of pics)
*UPDATE DYNO RESULTS @9-10 PSI https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1184786
Hello,
I've been on this site for about a year now and I would like to thank everyone on HT who have contributed to wealth of information found here. I can't begin to say how much i've learned on doing this project. Every thing from building the motor to dialing her in on her first taste of boost. Also I would like to thank my boy Sam for helping me with everything from installation to choice of parts. And my lady for putting up with my *** through all this
Also For you D-series guys i'm only running .45 bar no signs of head lifting. When I get my Blitz SBC-ID and crank up the boost i'll find out if I have any head lifting issues. Right now i'm running 23.5 Degrees of total timing. My head and Block has been resuraced and am using copper spray. I torqued my headstuds 3 step sequence to 65 foot pounds with moly lube. Also the dowel pins have been shaved as well

Its 3 inch inlet. I could be 2.75 ID but the OD is definatly 3 inch.

Got the stand from the Local Pep Boys. Works Great and is the perfect size. But it does not come with any bolts to hold the motor to the stand. I ended up using some old Tranny bolts for that.

Me and a friend are gonna do the tunning. We've been doing alot of research and reading on tuning. We have all the tools except for the a dyno. We just gonna tune it very conservatively on the street. And later on tune her on the dyno
