Dc sports Header?sounds Bad
Hey guys, i just installed a DC sports header on my 97 accord, well when i started the car ity sounds fine when idoling but when i accerlerate it sounds like i'm driving a little vw bug, its sounds crapy. I dont have an intake or a cat-back, so i heard once i get those installed it will sound better but does it sound that bad cause i got a leak in the exaust or somethin?/?

It could be an exhaust leak. The sound should not change that much if at all because you put on a DC header on a f22 with no exhaust. Recheck all of your nuts and bolts make sure the gaskets are good also

make sure its not comming form ur muffler , stock mufflers will sound weird when u put a header on sometime, get someone to set in it and rev it up and see where the sound is comming from.... It make be the stock muffler
