What to get from a ITR for the swap

as this car is OBD2B so I need ot know what are to things I need to gather or consider

Motor, Trans, Ecu, Harness>>???

so... you want to put the type r motor in your gsr? well.. you'd need the type r motor, ecu, and tranny if you can get it.. good luck finding it all in the same car though. what car is obd2b?? your post is kinda confusing... etheir way, just get everything from the r.. dizzy, ecu, harness, etc..

 

let me clear things up then

the current car I have is a 2001 integra Gsr OBD2B

like to know what to get or need to buy in order to swap in a ITR

I know the basics but any re wiring or harness I need besides the engine harness>????

 

Just get a 2000+ ITR motor

 

your gsr engine harness wil plug up to the ITR motor with no problems.. since both are obd2 motors doesnt matter obd2a or obd2b they still have the same sensors. the only thing u will have left over on your engine harness when it is wired up to the itr motor is the seconday butterflies plu thats it. u can reuse your dizzy, injectors, altenator, engine harness, even the ECU as well however getting the matching itr ecu if possible wil be good

 

well here is the thing why I aks to be sure
I tried pluging in a 2000 ITR ecu and the car wouldn't start
the ecu was good.....

So I want to know before I purchase any motor
