You'll just need the ECU, motor and tranny.

You can use your GSR harness, and also use the GSR axles with the swap.

Just use the GSR harness and put that onto the ITR motor. Since the IACV and such is located in a different position, I would change the location and use the ITR fuel injector harness with the IACV plug as well. Just match up the colors, put the GSR harness and you're done with wiring.

Everything else will be cake.

The harness adapter has nothing to do with the sensor on the motor. You will need it for the ecu. Since your plugs are different from the itr ecu. You want a ecu jumper harness to run a 96-98 ecu with 99-01 plugs.

The iacv sensor poison is talking about should fit up to the itr manifold, so i wouldnt worry about that. If you plan on doing the swap yourself and have never done it before, i would highly suggest getting help from someone who has. Unless you are very mechanically inclined and have access to a helms.

All you will need is the motor, tranny, ecu and ecu jumper.

Yeah, it fit right up when I did this exact swap for a 99 ITR motor into an '01 GSR using the GSR harness. I just decided to use the ITR part of the yel/blk wires, fuel injector wires and the IACV wiring for a more factory look.

Good info though Jackson

Everything will plug in but you will have a few extra plugs on your gsr harness that wont be used...vtec pressure switch, evap purge, etc...

Use the factory harness from the gsr on the jdm ITR motor, And get a adapter harness to make it obd1 and run hondata on a p28
