b16 stroker
okay i wanna do the b16 stroker......to do this do i just use the ls crank and rods and then my stock b16 pistons? will this make a noticable difference? will any maching have to be done to make this all work. i have searched but i hate reading through like 40 pages of stuff to find something out. will this make it the 1.9L?

Do a bit more researching on engines first before you dive into something like this. B18/B16B motors and B16A/B17 motors use different deck heights. An LS crank, LS rods, and B16 pistons will put the top of the pistons around .35" out of the block, it don't work. You need a set of custom pistons, or talk to Tech43 racing, who makes a set of pistons to use an LS crank and rods in a B16 block. Honestly though, unless you're obsessed about people thinking you only have a B16, I would run a B18 block, especially with a daily driver. They can say it'll run great on the street, but with the pin completely through the oil ring like that I have my doubts that the motor will last a long time on the street. Call me a girlie man, but I would feel infinitely more comfortable running a GSR/LS block with a GSR/LS crank instead of trying to stroke your B16.
