CRX b16 Swap

Default CRX b16 Swap

We're currently swapping a b16 into a CRX HF with a d15b6 in it. When the motor arrived a bunch of the wiring had the connectors ripped/cut off. Does anyone know where to find some good info on wiring this thing up. We have the ecu to go with the engine.

you can transfer some sensors from your HF engine over to the B16A engine and you can actually use your HF engine harness on the B16A being that its MPFi.

what sensors can be switched.. and what about the wiring for the vtec?

You will have to wire a few sensors ( vtec etc ) but your best bet is to use the HF Harness and run the apropriate extra wires or even better convert to OBD1

OBD1 conversion will set you back around $400 or so but will run the car awesome! You need a conversion harness, an O2 sensor , a chipped ecu and an OBD1 or 2 dizzy good luck!

whichever sensors are missing and/or broken on your B16 engine. You have to manually wire VTEC in from the VT solenoid and pressure switch all the way to the ecu.

Hasport probably make a subharness to add to your existing loom - easy fit, looks professional...and you get instructions!
