Default Tranny parts. Where to buy?

Hi all. Im new here of course. I was just wondering were the best place to buy tranny parts is? I really dont know much about hondas in general but I have this 95 integra 5spd tranny that Im fixing for a freind of mine. Its in good shape but just needs the 3-4 slider and 3-4 syncros. I called the local acura dealer and they said the slider and 3rd gear are one unit and quoted me $350.00! This is just for parts. Does that sound right? Granted I was not there looking at the IPC with him so maby he was looking at the wrong part? Is there a dealer parts look up program for hondas? Kinda like CAPS for DSMs? Thanks.

Try any of your local transmission shops, see what prices they offer you. Try this link:

Do some google searches, and you should be able get a good idea of what the parts go for.

exospeed rebuilds tranny's for around 700. all oem honda gears and synchros. If you wanna go big baller hit up gear speed, customize gearing, rebuilds, lsd's, etc. parts might be cheap but its all in the labor. It might be easy taking a trans. apart...but try putting it back together

Thanks for the links yea tranny rebuilds are no problem for me. As you can see in my sig my Talon has taught me alot. I ended up getting oem stuff for about $300 witch aint too bad. Included new 3-4 gears, syncros and 3-4 slider. The rest of the tranny was fine.
