ok im looking to do all the motor mounts and torque mount inserts but im confused about buyin the kits. i see energy suspension makes a 3 mount kit but which mounts are these????? then which other ones am i going to need??? i want to do all the mounts in the front but i dont know which is which and whats kits to buy????

one more ques how hard is it to do the rear mount??? everyone says its a bitch??

so which kits do i need to purchase to do all the mounts/inserts im confused and did search. cause theres motor mounts then torque mounts. someone please help me !!!!

Energy suspensions kits include the inserts for the 3 torque mounts. You get to the two front ones when you remove your front tires.

They are not the top two mounts. These mounts work good, bu expect a little vibration. Nothing to extreme though.


we just installed the rear mount the other day, and yes it is a bitch. Very tight squeeze. we had to remove the mount and the bracket that goes on the block. Then just wiggled it out and back in again.

so the energy sus ones give me the two sides and the rear one which u said was a bitch to do? i just wanna make it stiffer up front to help out traction. what others should i do ? trans mount?? what kit?? should i even do the top ones??

the rear mount took about 2hours to do itself. it's not fun.

should i get the jim fab ones for 60 bucks or just do the inserts on the torque mounts

shows how to install them and shows which mounts they are..

prothane i believe have inserts for the two top mounts in the engine bay, but i guess you'll expect major vibration with these

I wouldn't recammned the jim fab ones. While they are of the highest quality, they rattled the hell out of my car. Really, really bad. Now it use the enegry suspension ones and they work great.
