Default drive shaft? Steel or Aluminum?

I've never gotten in to drive shafts due to the fact that i've been a honda kid since 95, so i'm venturing into new unfamilar territory on this one. Figured honda-tech is #17 in the world i'm sure someone has more experiance with this then my self.

in my google search ifound tons of drive shaft shops, here i found just questions about rewelding and mounting.

basically aluminum is more expensive then the steel aplication, but is there any significant difference other then weight?

thanks in advance

there is weight difference, but there is also size difference.
The Al. driveshaft must be a lot thicker in order to be as strong as steel.

Im not sure they make them for hondas since space is limited.
