Are my struts blown?
Ok I just bought a set of used Koni yellows for my teg. I can compress them down by hand but it isnt easy and they decompress pretty slow. I wanted to know if this is normal or if I just bought a set of junk konis. Thanks!
are they on the lowest setting when you can compress them by hand? i don't remember ever being able to compress my tokico adjustables by hand, even on setting one, but it's been a long time since i messed with them out of the car. and if they were blown, they'd leak stuff. i exploded a shock once.
Well on either settings I can compress them by hand. Granted I am 6'2" 250lbs they dont compress really easy but I can compress them. They are dirty but no oil on them. But if they blew a while ago then there wouldnt be any oil coming out or on them would there?

no, they are not blown. You should be able to SLOWLY compress them. The springs will keep that from happening. If you push quickly, they should firm up.
Yeah I cant press them down fast. With all my wieght behind it it goes down slowly. I guess Im just being a little too paranoid.lol Just want to make sure they are ok before I go about putting them on.
