When I push down the gas pedal there is a ticking or clicking. What could be the problem?

it happens when the car is cranked. If it switched off, the gas pedal is too smooth.
It happens when the car on (N) or (D) & even on cruising under 2000 rpm.
Its like little stop on the pedal, you can feel it by your foot.

I went to the agency and they lubricate the pedal spring, but still the same.


Accord 2004, Auto, 4 cylinders

 

Take it to another dealer. It's under warranty so they have to fix it if it's abnormal.

could it be the throttle cable? never the less, take it to the dealer anyways... they should be able to fix it

 

Throttle plate, throttle spring, or throttle position sensor could cause this???
