Do I need to change out the axles when swaping a H22a into a H23xx (1993 Si) or will the H23 axles be the same? I searched but since its such a specific thing, i had no luck.

 

You don't NEED to if they are still in good shape, but it wouldn't hurt and they are not that expensive of a thing to do anyway. Mine after the core charge were around $110 for both.

If your boots are cracked or ripped replace them.

cool cool. I have a full JDM front clip from a 1994 SI so I have the H22a with axles and all. I was reading some of the replacement forums and didnt want to botch up my axles on either car. Thanks for the help guys.

 

Use the factory ones. H23 and H22 are the same since they go into the same tranny.

 

i used the h22 axels it came with but then a cv boot ripped( i guess from dry rotting in warehouses) so i just replaced it with the old h23 axle
