Default ITR block with GSR head, Good?

My gsr block blew up, and I can't affort a complete ITR swap, do you guys think a ITR short block with gsr head will be a good N/A set up? with ITR cams and skunk2 intake manifold?

It will be fine. Your compression will be a bit higher because of the smaller combustion chamber on the GSR head as opposed to the B16/TR heads but other than that I dont understand why your even asking this question. The only reason most people opt for the B16 head over the GSR is the lack of manifolds available. The AEBS should be ready soon though if not already and obviously the Skunks and JG's have been available for a little while. Hope this helps.

I have this exact set-up in my eg hatch. It makes decent power. 169.9whp, 129tq.
I have- act streetlight flywheel, N1 underdrive pulley, ITR cams, GSR tranny, Stock mani. Hope this helps.
