I've been debating PnP for a while now and just can't make up my mind. Is it worth it? I'm looking for more low to mid end power - will skimming followed by PnP justify the outlay for achieving power in this range? If you have done it on the B16A head and have the standard bolt ons + ctr cams (tuned) let me know.

If you are careful and knowledgeable, bottom end and midrange should usually improve from a P&P. Getting a nicer short-side radius, removing the factory casting junk and a 3-angle valve job can only help your power everywhere in the rev range. It's only when you start making ports too big that the low-end starts to suffer.

Quite honestly, if you really want low-end though maybe you should be doing an LS block swap.
