I got an 88 CRX and when you turn the wheel right, it turns fairly easy, but when u turn the wheel left, its as if there is no power steering at all. Culd this just be because the fluid is low? Or something bigger?

 

i was under the impression that CRX's didnt have power steering. i know mine doesnt

I am under the same impression.

 

This is the first hona ive owne so i wuldnt kno, but the way the wheel turns going right it seems fairly easy, so my guess was it had power steering

 

Look for the power steering pump. It should be run off of the main crank pulley to the right side of the engine(driver's side). My hunch is that there is no power steering and just maybe the ac compressor if you have it.

 

I'll look tommorrow, its just weird how the wheel turns easy one way, and like u can barely move it the other way.
