Default The best turbo toy yet! Oh and my EM1-T shows its face on the forum

ok, ok, i know this appears to be a thread that should be in the electronics area, but this thing should be on every FI Honda because it will save your *** time and time again. It is called an SRX from Escort and it is a laser jamming, radar detector with hidden display. I swear this thing works wonders. I bought it on Ebay for $700 and it was worth every penny

So this is my car, sleeved and built b16a2, log mani turbonetics kit, 280hp @14psi. Oh and tons of extras.

now lets see if i can post pics....

This is a shot of the two front jammers and the radar unit

and one more jammer in the rear

no stupid scanner in the window

hope these pics work....first time with wtdr.com

look good

but you should be making alot more than 280 whp at 14psi, unless you have a tiny turbo

if i remember correctly. the fmax/turbonetics kit came with a ball bearing t3/t04b. which would explain the high psi

Yeah and they can easily tell they cant get a signal off of you and pull you over and bend you over for the jammer

Radar detector is a much better mod

BTW- Sleeved built B16 @ relatively high psi making 280whp is a little stupid

Imma make more than that on my nonforged piston single slam on stock sleeves

Tiny turbo and conservative tune on 9.0/1 compression

My boss is a cop on the side, and he said that the thought is in WA, that police pull over the person and not the device

But radar's cant detect laser until it is already shot at you and at that point it is too late.. are there any cheaper jammer's out there other than this one..

LOL...this is awesome. Besides the fact that Laser is still rarely used and much less detectable, its been found that most "Jammers" happen to work great as electronic amplifiers for Radar, making it easier to detect your speed. And if you think its saved your ***, I've probably got just as many "Lucky" situations where I got out w/o a ticket.

That is true , I have only been lasered once and it worked like a charm. The best part about this system is that it has a great radar detector and a hidden display so cops never see that you have it.

My company installed a similar device, about $1,100.00 though, on a customer's Porshe 911 GT2. In the couple months he has had it he said he hasn't got one ticket. Not that I condone speeding on the streets or anything

Laser and Radar are regulated by two different governing bodies. The FCC regulates radar, and radar jammers are illegal. The FDA regulates laser, and only some states have banned laser jammers.

are you tuned? 280 I made that on my lude with the drag gen 4 kit tuned at 8.5psi. I know there is no one around here that can tune so take it to torque freaks if you have AEM EMS or Ground Zero if you have hondata.
