electric water pump & fan with relay????
can i run a electric water pump and fan off of one 30 amp relay i want them to be on at the same time also what size fuse shold be used if i can
does this look rite?

well im planning to put a thermoswitch in line with both the fan and water pump so they will go on at a certain tempbut also want to be able to turn them on manually whenever i want

I still don't get it. Why don't you want the pump to run full-time, as long as the engine's running? Is this the kind of pump where you remove your belt-driven waterpump? If so, you gotta remember that there should always be flow going thru the block & head. Thermostat shuts off flow ONLY to the radiator.
well this is an externall electric water pump i dio not have a oem water pump in my car i drilled holes around my thermostat so some water still flows through motor but if i keep the pump on costantly my motor will never warm up thats why i put a thermo switch when im normall driving it will kick on at a certain temp but when im inbetween rounds of racing i want to be able to manually turn the pump and fan on to cool down fast
I wouldn't use a thermostat at all.Just use a restictor.Some people take the thermostat and gut it out.Make sure you have the punp on during a run.You will get localised hot areas and start to detonate faster than the relay can react. http://www.moroso.com/catalog/...29018
