Ok
I'm getting my JDM conversion Non-HID
at the end of this month. My question is did any of you install the kit yourself or did you go to a body shop? I'm trying to save money by doing it myself since the conversion has already burned a huge hole in my wallet. Is there a step by step instruction available online? I yahooed "jdm integra conversion install, jdm froent end install, etc" but no luck. ANy help would be great.

i didn't do mine myself, mainly because it was during being fixed from an accident, and they had to repair some other stuff, and i had school, etc. but really, other than the welding of the rad support, it is very simple and you should have no problem doing it yourself. unless you can weld. in which case, it should be a piece of cake.
it seemed pretty simple but i didnt wanna do the welding myself, i say take it to a shop. if ur gonna do the jdm front, do it right the first time.

no i had to use the jdm integra radiator core support... instead of hacking off my whole core support i just hacked off the top of my usdm one and then i welded on the top half of the jdm one... i followed the instructions on a wirespeed lab website . i posted up in a thread earlier

Same thing here on a USDM front, VisionX 6000K HIDs, love em. Wish I went with a different temperature but the look you get with HIDs in an Integra when people know your not supposed to have them is awesome.
The JDM front looks more like the NSX silver kind of like my friends hatch which looks awesome.

I paid $1700 for my JDM from end with HIDs. Picking it up tomorrow. Hopefully getting it installed this week. I'm having a body shop do it. I don't have the time nor a place to do the work. I'm probably going with Championship white, because I have a Taffeta White teg, but if I get a good price I may go with another color. Either NBP or a gunmetal color to match my rims. I can't wait to get my baby back.
Don't mean to jack this thread, but what temperature are the JDM HIDs and what color will they be?

not tryin to jack the thread but does someone wanna buy my aftermarket hids from my jdm front?
